The Health Ministry of China Refute the Rumor 'Negative AIDS'

Brief: Recently, there are media reports said that a mysterious virus called "negative AIDS" has been detected in 6 provinces which including Guangdong province in China. Then a spokesman of the Ministry of Health said that "negative AIDS " is just a symptom of fear of AIDS, there are no known virus at all, the Health Ministry will release the findings on the matter, and break the rumor.

Detail: Several recent media reports have claimed that a new virus known as "Negative AIDS" was detected in 6 provinces and cities around the country. But Health Ministry spokesman Deng Haihua is refuting this rampant speculation. The official is emphatic that no such disease has been found anywhere.

According to the rumor, anyone infected will exhibit the same symptoms as people with AIDS, even though the Human Immunodeficiency Virus can't be detected in their blood. The unfounded speculation has caused a nationwide panic, after the claims were repeatedly re-posted on the Chinese version of Twitter, the Sina Microblog.
