Geneleukim® For InjectionDrug Name:Recombinant human granulocyte colony- stimulating factor injection.Ingredients and Amount:This product is colorless sterile solution with pH4. 0, and composed of HAc-NaAc buffer 10MM, mannitol 5% and Tween-80 0. 004%.Each vial of rhG-CSF injection contains recombinant G-CSF 75µg, 150µg, or 300µg respectively.Pharmacology:RHuG-CSF, by means of genetic engineering technology, has similar bioactivity in vivo as well as in vitro compared with natural human G-CSF.G-CSF is one of main factors modulating granulocytopoiesis and selectively acts on megakaryocytic progenitors to stimulate its multiplication and differentiation as well as to enhance functions and quantity of neutral granulocytes.Indications:Patients with severe granulocytopenia resulting from chemotherapy for tumors.Patients receiving myosuppressed drugs, especially some severe and bone marrow depriving chemicals , if put in use Geneleukim® can prevent and lighten the degree of granulocytopenia and shorten duration of granulocytopenia as well as hasten the regain of the granulocytes , consequently reduce the possibility of higher temperature from combined infection.Dosage and Administration:Subcutaneously or intravenously administer the drug once a day 24~48hs after the chemotherapy, but administration and dosage should take chemotherapy and degree of granulocytopenia into account.For patients with intensive chemotherapy or with obvious granulocytopenia symptoms should administer Geneleukim® for 7 consecutive days at the dose of 25ug/kg until the regain of the granulocytes 5000/mm3.If chemical drugs used are small and not severely myosuppressed, patients may as well administer Geneleukim® at the dose of 1. 25ug/kg until the steady regain in safe limen.For distinct decline of granulocytes from chemotherapy, (say <1000/mm3), patients should receive the drug at the dose of 5ug/kg till granulocytes increase more than 5000/mm3 and after staying stable at this level, the discontinuity of the drug as well as monitoring the status of patients should be taken into account. product offered by Shandong Geneleuk Biopharmaceutical Co. , Ltd.
